Hello to our patients,
We are looking forward to seeing you all again! This is new territory for everyone, but we have some excellent guidance from the American Dental Association (ADA) along with the Tennessee Dental Association (TDA) and of course the CDC and OSHA to ensure everyone is safe. We appreciate your patience as we navigate these new procedures together.
Our team has always been proud of the high standards of cleanliness and infection control we traditionally have had in place. As we reopen our dental offices, we wanted to make you aware of some additional new practices to maintain the highest level of safety for everyone.
Patients safety procedures:
- All patients will be asked to complete a short health form
- Temperatures will be scanned for everyone entering the building
- Only one guest permitted with a young or elderly patient, and the guest will be asked to wear a mask for the full appointment (we will provide the mask if you do not have one)
- Option to provide credit card verbally
- All patients will be asked to wait in the parking lot in your car until your scheduled appointment time. Our staff will call your cell when it is time to come inside for your appointment. Upon your arrival:
- Patients of Dr. Birdwell please call 615-771-3180 and select option 1
- Patients of Dr. Cox, please call 615-864-1078
For the Dentists and staff, we are implementing some additional safety precautions as well:
- Temperature scans each morning for all staff
- Additional personal protective gear, including face shields
- Additional time between appointments to provide time for deeper cleaning between patients
